To combat the negative perception of phone masts, some companies have attempted to ‘disguise’ them to better blend in with their surroundings. This initiative has resulted in varying levels of success. These pictures by Robert Voit See more here

My family and I laugh at these ALL the time.

We have this wonderful technology that allows us to globally communicate with people all over the world BUT then to hear of complaints about how “ugly” the technology is.
#FFS
That would be like having the cure for AIDS with an injection but having the audacity to complain that the vaccine isn’t a certain Pantone color.
I have no problem embracing the modernity of the times we live in and by masking these structures seems hypocritical to accept cellphones and other mobile-based devices but not the towers which allow them to function.
Because, done poorly, it’s quite laughable and a poor investment in time and resources. Besides the aesthetics I would be more concerned with creating an unsafe habitat for birds or other animals being exposed to whatever energy may be transmitted/received from the towers.
To be fair, the image on the top at least makes a fair effort of achieving a measure of realism.
Meh…it just seems so superficial that this has to be done in the first place and if more people like this had their way, cars today would like exactly horses. always-have-a-towel:
