Thursday morning, Steve Doocy interviewed members of the U.S. Navy Band about the band’s recent inclusion of women. Reacting to the segment, Brian Kilmeade remarked, “Women are everywhere. We’re letting them play golf and tennis now. It’s out of control.” Visibly upset, Gretchen Carlson, the only female host, walked off of the set. “You read the headlines. Since men are so great. Take them [women] away,” she said. Kilmeade responded, “All right. Finally.” Then, as she walked further off of the set, Kilmeade jeered, “Leaving an all male crew” and added “she needed a shower.”
Stay classy Brian.

So rage against duly-elected government is ‘patriotic’ and ‘quintessentially American,’ where(as) rage against multinational, shareholder-accountable corporations is ‘anti-American.’ Gotcha.
I don’t get it: Here’s a group of Americans disenchanted, railing against big government bailouts; angry ‘cause they played by the rules, worked hard — now they’re in debt from student loans and they’re unemployed. I mean, look — if this thing turns into throwing trash cans at Starbucks windows, nobody’s gonna be down with that. …But these protestors — how are they not like the Tea Party? … Aren’t these folks real citizens with real problems?

I would like Jon Stewart to run for president.

I love the beauty of science. These are giant stained liposomes which can be used to treat cancers and other diseases. Beautiful and extremely helpful, science is incredible.
It is both fascinating and humbling to see the things we can see. And only after the last several centuries of technological advancements are we able to view nanosized creations.
Who knows what still remains to be seen…perhaps it may be asymptotic, at best, to assume we may never know the smallest or furthest objects that exist within our grasp. Especially considering that the mass of two molecules of hydrogen and one molecule of oxygen are the only things keeping us from venturing the deepest oceans and the lack of two molecules of oxygen keep us from going anywhere else.
